I did my first proper run for almost 4 weeks today. Right foot seems to have survived. The outside of my left foot is now sore. I can’t help but be worried that I’ve buggered something else, and that this marathon ain’t going to happen. Attempted to ice it when I came back, but I think I put in too much ice as I couldn’t keep my foot in the basin for more than 15 seconds, because after that it was excruciatingly painful; much worse than when I broke myself back in March, for example. Anyway, just need to see how it goes. Time to cross those fingers that it’s just a bit sore due to having run 14 miles.
